There has to be a way to do this, even if it's delegating to the native swift handler. So my close method has two use cases: 1) Manually click the X button to close, and 2) Automatically close when a link is clicked in the popover. In instances where a new tab is opened, the popover goes away automatically, but if a link opens in the current tab, the popover just hangs around, obscuring the view.
